About Me

Top

Hi!!!

I’m Zindagi Choudhary, the ‘Kid’ in #TheKidWhoTravelled

I love travelling!!!

My parents tell me, I didn’t step out of my birthplace ‘Mumbai’ for the first 12 months of my life… just imagine! On my first birthday, they took me to ‘Lonavala’ a hill station near Mumbai, and my journey began… since then I have travelled to more than 45 destinations in India and visited 4 countries overseas (…and counting…)

What I do when I am not travelling?

I am a kid, so I go to school obviously 😊

I love reading! In fact, my parents took me into books before they took me around this beautiful world. I have read over 450 books (…and counting…)
And I love writing as well.

How I started blogging…

In my school, we are encouraged to take a ‘passion project’. When I had to choose one, I thought why not combine my love for travelling and writing? So I started blogging at the age of 10.

Hey, hey, but wait… I realised I always wrote about my experiences while travelling much before I gave my passion a proper shape.
Look here, this is how I used to write on hotel’s notepads and later in books back home. So you can say, I always travelled and blogged 😊

Now that I write in a more structured way, add few pictures and put it up on internet for you to read, I feel super cool!!!

What you will find in my blogs…

I write about what I see, what I feel, what I experience, what I learn and people I meet. It’s straight from my heart with no edits  😊

Travel creates sweet memories, which I want to share with you through my blogs! I hope you will find it HUMOROUS, INFORMATIVE and INSPIRATIONAL.

I cherish time spent together with my family while exploring the world.

What I hope to achieve…

While I want to travel the whole world, my heart is in India.

I have seen quite a bit of India but there is so much more to see yet. I have experienced snow and desert; wilderness and cultures; natural wonders and human creations. I have tasted salt from salt desert; seen 10,000 years old cave paintings; roamed royal palaces; cruised in the largest river alongside dolphins; made sand castle on beaches; walked on 200-year-old living root bridges; sighted lions, tigers, leopards, bears, a red panda, one-horned rhinos, peacocks, hornbills……all in their natural habitat.

I want the world to come to India and experience all this and more.

I want to inspire, motivate and encourage you and others to fall in love with the land, the nature, the wildlife, the people, the culture, and most importantly, yourself and your family.

Happy travelling!!!
